The Pet of the Month program is very important to the mission of OMHS to find homes for the animals at our shelter. OMHS strives to have as many sponsors as possible for this important program. Local businesses, OMHS members and friends provide the financial backbone of this program with their sponsorship. Beginning in 2002, the Pet of the Month has provided advertising of pets ready for adoption in the Shopping News, Richland Observer, Boscobel Dial, and Muscoda Progressive for one flat fee for the entire year. Countless animals have been adopted in the almost 20 years of the program! Each business and member name is listed once per month in all of the publications, 12 months of the year.
